I have been playing an online game for a couple of years now and I am amazed by the different people I get to talk to every day. Different lives and different stories. I have heard of people in war zones suffering from family trauma, illnesses, and more. But the same thing keeps coming up, when someone is needing help, they reach out to the team on the game for support. Some don’t have family or friends nearby. So, the game became their support. Do you know who is in your support corner?
There are many out there that do not have family and friends nearby. Living lives on their own with what they can. They are relying on the kind people they meet to help them through the tough times. Having to face the struggle in the first place and then realize you have no one to stand with you is scary.
We all encounter several people that come and go in our lives. Some will teach us lessons about life and ourselves. Others are looking for you to support them. But then there are the special ones that stay by your side through it all. The ones that are honest and caring. That is your support.
When you are facing those hard days, who is standing strong beside you? If you need a shoulder, who is always available? And when you have something exciting to share, who is cheering you on? When you really look at the people in your life, can you find your support team? Do you know who is truly in your corner?
