We need time to experience life. To think and process. We want more of it to be with loved ones. And there is never enough to do it all. Time is the one thing that controls us all. Running around with schedules. Deadlines and calendars that dictate how we use our days. All of this, and we still cannot make time for ourselves.
Life hits hard every day. Some of us need time to process the situation. This allows us to dissect events and feelings from the issue. Allowing us to understand better and control the outcome as we need to. The clock keeps ticking away. And is very much needed for our own sanity.

Too Fast
I don’t know about you, but as I grew up, each days felt like it was getting faster. That there was not enough time to get things done. Especially if you are caring for others, having to spend all of your day focused on others, leaves nothing left for you. Taking up so much away from your wants and needs. Just letting the time slip away.
And if you have ever lost a loved one, time is brutal. Because you think you have all of these days and years ahead of you, when suddenly, it stops. Leaving you wanting more to spend with them and making memories.

Never Enough
The biggest problem we face within our own lives, is having time for us. Carving out the minutes, the hours, or days to take that breath we desperately need. Recharge our batteries and find the love within ourselves. Very rarely do we focus on what we truly need. I don’t know how many times I have told someone, I don’t have time to do that because of all of this. No walks, no exercising at the gym, no personal space to calm my emotions.

If you are one of the lucky ones that manages your time each day, focusing on your responsibilities and having time for you, I am proud of you. If you are one like me that struggles to make the space our of my day, just a little moment for myself, I am proud of you. There are so many hours of the day. So much that we are faced with. And all we need to do is allow ourselves be a priority for a moment. Make our needs and wants special for the hour. Give us some much desired time to love who we are once again.
