Sometimes you just need to let it out. Just open up and let the flood gates fly. All of the feels and all of the emotions, are never good to hold inside for too long. It is not good for your mental health and not good for your physical health. There will be times you need to express yourself. For me, that time was yesterday. A time when all of my frustration came to a boiling point and I needed to let it go.
Let it Out
When I started this job, I was having fun. Loving each day of going into the office. Like I was getting the change to play all day for a job. I felt like I had found my career. And I was excited to see where it took me. Unfortunately, things happen. And work is not as fun anymore. Frustrations are building every day. Feeling like I had no outlet or escape. All I could do is let it out.

Let it Release
Last night I was fuming. All of my emotions were at the top level ready to explode. But I had to be careful. It’s okay to not be okay. But it is not okay to use negative action, just because of your bad day. I knew that I had to let out some energy, so I didn’t take it out on my family. So, I made sure to take some time away to settle my thoughts. Calm my emotions before my day was made worse. I had to find a way to let it release.
Let it Go
We will be faced with days that test our very being. Build up our frustrations, fears, and anger. It is okay to not be okay. It is alright to take some time to process the situation. But holding onto all of those feelings and thoughts will destroy from the inside out. At some point we all need to find a way to constructively, safely, and if possible positively let it go. Release the anger, the frustration and hurt that we are feeling to move on and become stronger. And to quote a princess, “Let it Go.”
